Around the Table Passover Event + Connected Easter Sunday School Lessons

Connected Easter is a digital and fully-customizable Easter Sunday school lesson series that includes the Connected Easter Lessons and the Around the Table: A Taste of Passover Event. This series takes kids and families on a journey through the Easter season and allows them to experience a “taste” of a traditional Jewish Passover meal that points throughout to Jesus.

During this time, we remember that God’s own Son, Jesus Christ, came once for all, offering the way into God’s presence by way of His life and His blood. Jesus is alive, and because of Him, we can transition from slavery to freedom, from death to life—now those are connections worth celebrating!

Around the Table: A Taste of Passover Event

Around the Table equips churches to lead families through an immersive retelling of the Passover story. It draws on many of the customs practiced in traditional Jewish Seder meals, which utilize specific food items as symbols to help tell the story of redemption, and points throughout to Jesus, the Lamb of God whose sacrifice on the cross brings us freedom from sin.

This special multi-generational experience can be hosted at your church or in homes and is a meaningful and memorable way to help families connect the story of God and His people, from the Exodus to the empty tomb!

The event kit is digital and customizable, and it includes everything you need to host the event:

  • Editable, Downloadable Event Guide (informative welcome video, supply list, volunteer roles and descriptions, decorating tips, detailed preparation instructions, a glossary of terms, and more)
  • Welcome video
  • Social media graphics
  • Promotional materials (posters, flyers, postcards, social media)
  • Registration forms

Let’s make this season unforgettable for the kids and families in your community.
